Choline Salicylate :
- Analgesic
- Relieves pain and irritation.
Tannic Acid :
- Astringent
- Shrinks swollen mucosa and heals ulcer faster.
Benzalconium Chloride :
- Antiseptic
- Avoids Secondary Infection.
Menthol :
- Demulcent
- Maintains Oral Hygiene.
Clinical benefits :
- For the treatment of Aphthous Ulcer.
Application :
- Patient should be instructed to use a clean finger tip (with nails clipped) or clean cotton swab/bud for applying OREX to the affected areas.
- The application should be repeated 3-4 times a day and at bed time, allowing an interval of at least 3 hours between two application.
Adverse effects : No serious adverse reactions are likely to happen
with OREX cream. Some patients may feel
- Mild tingling sensation at the beginning of application
- OREX is not recommended for individuals with a history of sensitivity salicylates.
